Originally conceived as an extensive renovation and addition this, West-End, Halifax new-build carefully observes, respects, and responds to its context by reinstating scale, materiality, and form. Large, glazed openings paired with cedar shingles re-establish those character defining elements of the original home while reinforcing a larger sense of place. A central core denotes and organizes served and servant spaces on all three levels of this 3700sqft home.
